Ms. Pear is a licensed California attorney specializing in Workers Compensation, Construction Defect and Civil Litigation.  She has also been employed as a Human Resources professional and consultant.

As an attorney Ms. Pear has taken hundreds of depositions of case principals, witnesses and experts and personally investigated accident, work site and injury locations.  She has worked with accident reconstruction experts in auto accident cases, bio-mechanical experts to determine the mechanism of bodily injury and medical experts to determine the nature and extent of physical injury.

Ms. Pear has extensive experience in all areas of Human Resources Management including workers compensation, recruiting, training, safety, and drug testing compliance.  She has conducted seminars in benefits and employee development and worked individually with employees on conduct and performance issues.  As a Human Resources Director, Ms. Pear has been involved in numerous investigations of employee misconduct, workers compensation fraud, allegations of sexual harassment and discrimination.

Ms. Pear has worked for companies in the following industries: insurance; financial services, accounting; consulting; medical care; and transportation.  She has worked as an independent contractor with law firms in areas of civil and workers compensation litigation.  She currently is focusing on governmental workplace misconduct investigations including complaints of: discrimination, retaliation, sexual harassment and hostile work environment.
