

GOVERNMENT EXPERIENCE:
Investigator McCurry
recently retired as the Police Chief for the San Bernardino Community College
District Police Department, a position he held for six years. Investigator
McCurry is also retired from the Fontana Unified School District after serving
six and a half years as the Chief of the School Police Department. He served
for over twenty-eight years with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s
Department working in numerous assignments. For the last seven years on the
Sheriff’s Department he was the Commander of the Inland Regional Narcotics
Enforcement Team (the major violator task force in the inland empire).
Investigator McCurry was a Sergeant in the Career Criminal Detail (a Metro
Unit), criminal conducting high level criminal investigations as well as
internal criminal investigations.
Investigator McCurry was responsible for criminal conspiracy cases involving
highly sensitive matters, including Police corruption cases. He was also an
instructor for the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and
Training (POST) in the area of Values Ethics and Principles.
Of special note is his record of accomplishments in providing a model of
professionalism for School Police Departments. He was personally responsible
for managing internal affairs investigations in the San Bernardino Community
College District Police Department and the Fontana Unified School District
Police Department.
PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION:
Investigator McCurry has attended numerous courses in management,
investigation and interrogation techniques and was an instructor at the San
Bernardino Sheriffs Academy.
Investigator McCurry attends an advanced five day Internal
Affairs/Administrative Investigation Training Conference held every year in
Las Vegas, Nevada.
He served as the President of the California School Police Chiefs Association
