PROFESSIONAL experience

Mr. Robinson boasts an illustrious 32-year career in government service, marked by his exceptional contributions to law enforcement and the legal profession. As a licensed California attorney and retired law enforcement manager, he served for 17 years at the Ventura County District Attorney’s Bureau of Investigation. During his tenure, he ascended to the role of manager of the Economic Crimes Unit, overseeing teams dedicated to investigating a spectrum of fraudulent activities, including major fraud, workers compensation fraud, insurance fraud, government assistance fraud, and consumer fraud. His leadership also extended to managing investigations into crimes against persons, such as homicide and sexual assault, while collaborating closely with state and federal agencies, including the FBI, NCIS, ATF, and the California Department of Justice Firearms Division. Additionally, Mr. Robinson's legal expertise flourished as a prosecutor for the Fresno County District Attorney’s Office, where he handled a diverse caseload, including prosecutions related to workplace violence and threats of mass shootings against private and public entities.

In addition to his outstanding professional accomplishments, Mr. Robinson is a distinguished scholar, holding a Juris Doctor from San Joaquin College of Law, a Master of Science in Emergency Services Administration from California State University, Long Beach, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson University. His commitment to ongoing education is evident through the completion of various post-education courses, covering supervisor school, management school, the Leadership Development Course, Behavioral Analysis Training, Forensic Statement Analysis, and Sexual Assault Investigation. Furthermore, Mr. Robinson has contributed to the field with his insightful publication, "Hidden Dangers of Stress (for first responders)," featured in PORAC News in August 2009, which represents a condensed version of his final research paper for the graduate program at CSULB. Lastly, his service to the nation as a military veteran in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Sergeant in the Airborne Infantry (Paratroopers), adds a layer of discipline and commitment to his distinguished career.
