PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

Ms. Allen is a seasoned Private Investigator and Human Resources professional with over two

decades of experience specializing in impartial workplace investigations. She is a Certified Title IX Investigator and holds licensure as a Private Investigator in California (PI 27033). Her investigative expertise spans public agencies and private employers across California and Colorado.

 Ms. Allen began her career at the University of California, Irvine, where she served as a Whistleblower Compliance Officer beginning in 2005. In this capacity, she led investigations into retaliation, workplace misconduct, and fraud, providing technical guidance and support to internal investigators and ensuring adherence to procedural fairness and policy compliance.

She later joined Norm Traub & Associates as a Private Investigator, focusing on workplace investigations for municipalities. Her responsibilities included conducting in-depth witness interviews, evaluating documentary evidence, and preparing detailed, legally sound investigative reports.

Ms. Allen previously served as a Paralegal at Fonda & Frazer, LLC, in Anaheim, California, supporting complex litigation—particularly medical malpractice cases—by preparing legal documents and managing discovery.

Ms. Allen has been actively involved in professional organizations. She served as the Orange County Local Circle Convenor for the Association of Workplace Investigators (AWI), where she facilitated peer engagement and professional development opportunities. In addition, she was formerly a member of the California Association of Licensed Investigators (CALI). During her time with CALI, she represented the association at Legislative Day, where she engaged with state representatives to advocate for policy issues impacting the investigative profession, participated in legislative briefings, and contributed to post-event strategic discussions.

Ms. Allen is also a frequent conference speaker, having presented at UCLA and UC Irvine on topics such as: Credibility Determinations in Workplace Investigations, Detecting Fraud, Waste, and Abuse and Writing Effective Investigative Reports and Executive Summaries.

Her academic credentials include coursework completed at Pierce College and UC Irvine. She is also a Certified Mediator in California.

Throughout her journey, whether as a compliance officer, investigator, or paralegal, Ms. Allen remained dedicated to upholding integrity, uncovering truth, and fostering positive change in diverse professional settings.
