Professional experience
Lisa Gallatin is an experienced background investigator with over 20 years of experience conducting POST background investigations on sworn and civilian personnel. She has handled thousands of cases and routinely managed a caseload of 50+ backgrounds for the Huntington Beach Police Department. In 2017, she was the recipient of the Mayor's Award for exceeding hiring expectations for the City of Huntington Beach. Since retiring in 2018, Ms. Gallatin has obtained her private investigator's license and has continued to conduct pre-employment background investigations for various police and fire departments. In the past two years, she has handled 175 cases for agencies in Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, San Diego, and Riverside Counites.
Ms. Gallatin stays up to date by attending quarterly and annual P.O.S.T. -certified training and is a member of the Southern California Background Investigator's Association.
