Professional experience
Mr. Tony Wold is a distinguished attorney with 28 years of experience in investigative and prosecutorial roles. He retired honorably as a Senior Prosecutor from the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office (VCDA).
Mr. Wold served as the Senior Attorney for the Public Integrity Unit. In his role, Mr.
Wold led complex investigations into critical issues, including use-of-force incidents involving law enforcement officers, misconduct by peace officers both on and off duty, ethical violations, conflicts of interest among public officials, and cases of fraud and bribery.
In addition to his experience in the Public Integrity Unit at VCDA, Mr. Wold oversaw several key divisions, handling concerns related to sexual assault, domestic violence, elder abuse, mental health issues, and cases involving sexually violent predators. His extensive jury trial experience and demonstrated success with high-profile cases make him an outstanding legal professional.
Mr. Wold completed training in Public Safety Internal Affairs through Liebert Cassidy Whitmore. He also received specialized training in use-of-force tactics at the California Training Institute and Human Performance Training Institute, including force-option simulator training.
