Mr. Stauffer boasts a distinguished 31-year career with the Garden Grove Police Department, culminating in his retirement as Captain in December 2016. His professional journey, starting as a dispatcher and advancing through various roles, showcases a deep understanding of law enforcement dynamics. Notably, Mr. Stauffer's expertise lies in workplace investigations, particularly for personnel governed by the Police Officer and Firefighters Procedural Bill of Rights. His commitment to employee advocacy is evident in his active involvement in collective bargaining and association representation at sergeant, lieutenant, and captain levels. Post-retirement, he lent his skills to NATA clients, offering workplace investigation services, and served as a Deputy District Attorney at the Orange County District Attorney's office.
