Ms. Kelepecz is a highly accomplished professional with a diverse and distinguished career spanning law enforcement, legal practice, and private investigation. Retired as a Commander from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and having served as the Chief of Police for the San Diego Harbor Police Department, she brings unparalleled expertise in risk management, human resources, and the oversight of operational and administrative functions within large organizations. With a Juris Doctor Degree from Southwestern Law School and a background in biology from the University of Southern California, Ms. Kelepecz uniquely combines legal acumen, investigative skills, and scientific knowledge, making her a formidable investigator specializing in allegations of employee/employer misconduct. Her leadership roles in public safety consulting, forensic DNA labs, and data-sharing solutions for government agencies further underscore her commitment to excellence in the field.

A trailblazer and a leader, Ms. Kelepecz's achievements extend beyond her professional roles. As the first woman to be promoted to the position of Commander in the 126-year history of the LAPD, she has paved the way for others in law enforcement. Her dedication to advancing women in the field is evident through her role as the Past President of the National Association of Women Law Enforcement Executives (NAWLEE), where she was honored with the Woman Law Enforcement Executive of the Year award. Additionally, her contributions to law enforcement leadership were recognized with the prestigious PERF Gary P. Hayes Award.
