Mr. Junginger boasts an impressive 38-year career in law enforcement, culminating in his retirement as the Chief of Police in Gresham, Oregon, in 2016.
During his tenure, he successfully managed a substantial department of 161 employees, oversaw a budget of $28 million, and served a thriving community of 110,000 residents. His leadership extended beyond Gresham, as an active member of the Oregon Association of Chiefs of Police, where he chaired committees, conducted department assessments, and handled personnel investigations. With 25 years of prior service at the Huntington Beach Police Department, Mr. Junginger demonstrated versatility by holding various roles, including patrol officer, sergeant, lieutenant, and captain. As a captain, he commanded the Administrative Services Division, providing oversight for personnel, human resources, and the Professional Standards Unit.
